Video sites

I get the feeling that people in class are having trouble navigating the web. The trouble is that there’s just too much out there. It’s tough to find a direction to take or a place to start from. Yahoo’s The 9 showases online content with a bubbly blonde.

Fark is one of my favorite sites. People scour the web for links and videos, eventually sending them to Drew, the webmaster. After filtering through gigabytes worth of junk, the best are posted throughout the day.

We all love very funny ads, if only there was a website called Oh wait, there IS one.

Wanna see what convergent technologies look like? Then head over to MTV and be overwhelmed by ads ads and more ads. Besides being slick looking and easy to navigate, the “site mode” and “video mode” of the website reflect the online viewing behavior of teens. After more than twenty years of work, MTV finally adds substance to their style. Laguna beach ROCKS!

If you come across anything good, share it with the class.
